Car Space describes itself as "a coworking space, office environment, and social club" – and that last element is the part worth paying attention to.
The first location opened recently, and within days the company closed $1.5M in new funding, adding to a $1.2M pre-seed round. Two additional locations in new cities are in the pipeline.
Pricing is straightforward: $300 per month for a coworking seat, $800 for a private office for one, and $2,000 for a two-person office. Supplemental spaces are available by the hour – training rooms at $100, meeting rooms at $20, and event spaces for 100+ guests at negotiated rates.
The base membership covers more than a desk. It includes access to the social club – and the social club's concept is what makes Car Space distinctive.
